The technological kitchen
High technology, formal simplicity and pure essential lines are the main features of Artematica.
Artematica Vitrum is a veritable cooking machine
The doors of Artematica Vitrum are constructed using a lightweight and resistant aluminum frame fitted with a matt or gloss glass front that can be colored or etched. The work top is also in toughened glass and supported by sturdy drawn aluminum bars. Glass is also used for the side panel at the end of the island. Stainless steel is used on the side of the sink unit and on the rear of the island. Very thick volumes permit the top of the unit to be fitted with practical accessories such a dish-drainers, electric sockets, stainless steel bowls, weighing scales and a vacuum pump. The lower space, that is divided off by sheet steel, is suitable for the concealed running of plumbing and electric cables and for closing water and gas cocks from above. A 40 cm deep snack bar in wood to use for eating breakfast or a quick meal is installed alongside the element in glass and stainless steel so that all the materials are completely recyclable. The island hood with its stainless steel body is completed by front and vertical glass panels that have the scope of containing and conveying kitchen vapors and of protecting the wooden snack bar when cooking.

Un-restrained Valcucine destroys the barrier of lines and volumes giving vitality and expressive power to the surface of its most exclusive kitchen: Artematica Vitrum. After three years of research, Valcucine has developed a technique to make inlaid decorations on glass. A highly technological process that has its roots in handicraft tradition and that emphasizes the priceless value of handmade workmanship. A new way of conceiving furniture that frees the imagination and makes it possible to personalize every single kitchen with themes created by young artists, by the designer or even by your own creativity. By means of the Artematica Vitrum Arte programme, Valcucine has created space for your freedom. VITRUM IS THE 1st KITCHEN WITH DOORS, TOPS AND GLASS GUARANTEED FOR 15 YEARS.

Pure units in single materials such as acrylic resin, glass or steel have been designed to take away that boring work area look from the kitchen. The arrangement shown has a system that makes it possible to camouflage the hob, sink, tap and oven, making the most of the formal clean-cut lines of the arrangement which, with all its concealed functional elements, becomes pure domestic architecture. VALCUCINE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT Doors and work tops are in Cristalite, 100% antibacterial thanks to the presence of silver ions (already used as far back as the antique Romans). The 100% aluminum frame can be completely recycled. Less material used for the work top and door.

Artematica Kembal
This is the model that Valcucine associates with the warmth of wood and the modernity and rigor of geometric lines, of constructive technology and of top design details. Kembal is a multi-laminar wood with a slim horizontal grain that reminds one of the colors and feel of teak and is protected by water-based varnishes and treated with oil. In fact, the name is inspired by the word that is used for teak on the Java island. It is a contemporary wood type that combines perfectly with materials such as steel and gloss lacquer and can be personalized with horizontal inlays in wood or aluminum.

Artematica Juglans
A contemporary kitchen that reinterprets the classicality of walnut in a very new way with a modern walnut that offers warm shades and a natural feel. This memorable wood and the feelings that are awaken by its features guided the creation of the multi-laminar wood that Valcucine uses for doors, snack bars, mid-shelves and back panels. This is a wood type to be used with stone or Cristalite tops, with pale lacquers or ruled laminate. It is possible to compose an Artematica Juglans kitchen combining horizontal and vertical grains and dark wood inlays in various positions and directions.

Light Artematica Robur
Oak, an ancient wood type, is used in a kitchen having a pure style and minimalist lines, giving it a warmer and more familiar tone. The surface is treated with natural oil mixed with white pigments that penetrates deep into the wood fibbers and contributes to the stability of its original appearance. The oak used does not come from a primary forest but from plantations where a balance has been reached between felling and planting. Its horizontal grain gives the kitchen a more slender appearance while the thinness of the work tops, supports and glass door and wall panel frames give it a simple and light look.

Dark Artematica Fineline
Thanks to its pure volumes and its great formally clean-cut lines, Artematica Robur is in tune with fashion and current trends. It distinguishes itself from them though as soon as personalized elements and decorative inlays are added. These reflect the creativity of the designer and separate the product from prevailing mass production. Slender aluminum or wooden trims are applied to the oak veneer surface, respecting a modularity that gives order to the arrangement.

The "multiline" layered laminate left in view on the edge of the doors transmits a touch of originality to the kitchen. Laminate is available in 32 different colors, some of which are available both matt and gloss. The Valcucine layered laminate doors are completely untouched by humidity and heat: they can in fact remain immersed in water for a long time without being damaged. They do not have glued-on edges that come come unstuck because the panel has been layered throughout its thickness in a single process.

Artematica Cerasus
One of the latest results of Valcucine's research is the wooden panel with a layered laminate support that gives the door better resistance and sturdiness features than traditional wooden doors. For the new wooden models, Valcucine has perfected a varnishing system based on natural oils and waxes that has made it possible to eliminate the toxic emissions of traditional varnishes. The wooden surfaces treated in this way have a pleasant feel and smell. In Artematica Cerasus, cherry wood is inlaid by hand with objects that are not influenced by passing fads: slender horizontal lines in aluminum or wood, geometric shapes such as the square or the circle, or ancient signs and symbols that never go out of fashion because they are part of the memory of Man and the history of many cultures.
